Every once in a while I find myself trying to re balance my life. From work, to friends, to family, to hobbies and everything in between. It seems as though as soon as one aspect of your life improves – another gets pushed away – for instance, you spend more time focusing on your own free time and hobbies that you miss out on spending that time with your nearest and dearest.
I’m someone who loves a routine, I like to feel in control and organised with what is going on around me. But, at the same time I wish I was more spontaneous.
As soon as someone or something new comes into my life – I panic – I start to doubt whether I am spending my time wisely. I then find myself trying to re balance everything out again. Maybe this is where my downfall is, I over think all the little things when maybe I should just go with the flow more.
Changing a mentality is not quite so easy as to changing the time you get up in the morning, but what if changing what you do in between getting up in the morning and going to sleep at night, can help change your mentality? This spring I’m going to have a refresh on the way I view my day-to-day life – and I want you to join me.
Keep an eye out for my next post on the steps I’m going to take to improve my mindset on day-to-day life.
It’s time to start relishing the little things in between the bigger things in life.
