No Makeup, Makeup Look | GRWM

Hello! It's been a while since I posted a get ready with me so here we go! On a daily basis I don't like to wear too much makeup and this is the look that I opt for, it's quick, easy and looks natural. This could be a great option for those still at school or those who don't have much time in the morning to spend too much time on their makeup.

1) Starting with a clean canvas, I have washed my face before getting started with one of my favourite moisturisers - the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion +  which is great for my dry skin, especially over the winter period. I then go in with a primer - the one I used today is the Max Factor Face Finity Primer and apply the Sleek Barekissed Illuminator in Monaco to help brighten my face over the winter months and give it a glow.

2) For foundation I like to mix the Benefie Hello Flawless and Max Factor Face Finity foundation - I find that the Benefit foundation gives that dewy fresh look whilst the Max Factor provides relatively high coverage. For brightening my under eyes I used the Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer, if you'd like to read more about my opinion on this concealer click here!

 3) Going in with my Hoola bronzer by Benefit, I contour my cheek bones, around my face and my nose (the photo below is before I blended it in, don't worry!). Once blended, I apply highlighter to my cheeks and nose using my favourite Sleek highlighting palette, and apply some blusher so give the look a natural warmth.

Bronzer before it has been blended in^

4) To finish the look I have used my Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in medium brown - it's important to use an eyebrow shade that is close to the root colour of your hair in order for your brows to look as 'natural' as possible. I have then curled my eyelashes and applied the Stila Huge Extreme lash mascara which isn't too thickening and volumising.

I've now just finished drying my hair and have got dressed! My top is from Forever 21.

I hope you enjoyed this post,

Top 3 Makeup Removers

There are many different products available nowadays for removing makeup and I often find myself trying something new however there are 3 products that I own that I would definitely recommend to you. I also have quite sensitive, dry skin and these products don't irritate me.

1) Garnier - Micellar Cleansing Water

Boots - £4.99 for 400ml Click Here
Boots - £1.99 for 125ml Click Here

I have re-purchased this product about four times so far and will most likely continue to use it far into the future. Applying the water to a cotton pad, working in circular motions I use this to remove my base make-up such as foundation, bronzer etc. Although you are able to use this on your eyes unfortunately it's not great at removing mascara.

I use this most nights to remove my makeup and the large bottle lasts me around 5 months - there is also a smaller bottle available which in prefect for travelling!

2) Nivea Eye Makeup Removers

1) Nivea Daily Essentials Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover 125ml - Boots -  £3.89 Click Here
2) Nivea Daily Essentials Extra Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover 125ml  - Boots - £3.59 Click Here

These are two of my favourite eye makeup removers, both very similar in terms of how good they are at removing mascara. The main difference between these two is that the one on the left is a lot more oily which is meant for targeting water-proof makeup and the remover on the right is suitable for sensitive skin.

3) Liz Earle - Hot Cloth Cleanser

Liz Earle - £15.50 Click Here

I'm still loving this cleanser after having bought it months ago so I couldn't not mention it on this post. It's perfect at removing makeup and gives your skin a good clean in the process - this is what I reach for when I want to remove my makeup on days that I am wearing a full face (which is only usually twice a week).

If you want to read more of what I think about this cleanser, I've already written a post on it so Click Here!

Beauty Haul

Hey Beauties! Also, Happy New Year as this is the first time I've posted on my blog this year! Coming into the new year we all like to make resolutions, eating healthy; being happy, going to the gym etc etc, personally I am also making those resolutions but one thing I also want to do this year is put more effort into the way I look. I don't mean changing myself in anyway, I just want to make a little more effort with my appearance.

Step 1: Treating myself to some new makeup goodies. So I popped into Superdrug, Boots and purchased a few thing on Beauty Bay. I thought I'd share with you what I got!

1) Hoola (Bronzer) - Benefit

Boots: £23.50 Click Here

Many people's all time favourite bronzer and I've finally decided to give it a try. It comes with a mini mirror and brush. So far I've been loving this product however it is more expensive than my favourite Sleek bronzer so I'm hoping that it will last a while!

2) Huge Extreme Lash Mascara - Stila

Beauty Bay: £18.00 Click Here

I always love trying out a new mascara and I'd never tried out a Stila one so here we go! I'm going to write a separate blog post on this product because I have mixed opinions.

3) Velour Fake Lashes

Beauty Bay: £23 Click Here

I've never been one to wear fake eyelashes often but I purchased these beauties for New Years Eve and I LOVED wearing them! I felt like I could fly away, literally. Also, thanks to the high quality of these lashes I'm able to keep them and wear them over and over again.

4) DUO Lash Adhesive - Ardell

Beauty Bay: £7.95 Click Here

My favourite lash adhesive is this Duo one from Ardell as it lasts ages and comes in transparent.

5) All Day Flawless 3 In 1 Foundation - Max Factor

Superdrug: £ 12.99 Click Here

I haven't used a Max Factor foundation in years so I picked this one up in Superdrug. This foundation claims to have 3 key elements in one; Primer to hold, Concealer to correct, Foundation to finish, so has the potential to be an amazing everyday foundation.

6) Hello Flawless Liquid Foundation - Benefi

Boots: £26.50 Click Here

I haven't re-purchased this foundation in quite a while however it always used to be my favourite so I thought I'd try it again. This foundation leaves you with a glowing dewy finish however isn't high coverage.

Benefit Oxygen Wow

7) Sculpting Brush - Real Techniques

Boots: £9.99 Click Here

Just when you think you've bought enough brushes...in goes another into your shopping basket. This brush is made for contouring and comes in a gorgeous metalic pink colour.
