Hot Chocolate Snowman!

Hello Lovelies!

Do you wanna build a snowman?

Today I wanted to show you how to create this Hot Chocolate Snowman! Perfect home-made gift for a Christmas present; easy to make, simple and effective.

1) Select 3 small jars, from a craft store or I found these three small jam jars that I already owned. The bigger the jars, the more hot chocolate I suppose you give your friend!

2) Next, super glue the three jars together by the lids. Make sure you don't super glue the lids shut to the jars though! (make sure you can still open up the jars)

3) To turn your three jars into a snow man, you're going to need some black card, orange card, some ribbon/string of your choice, scissors and a glue stick.

4) Here is how I made my snowman look:

5) Finally, finish off by filling the contents of your three jars! I have selected the three items bellow:

But of course you can fill your jars with the contents of your choice :)

I hoped you liked this DIY!

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick DUPE

 Hey Lovelies!

Many of you may know of the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick which retails at around £32, and many of you may agree with me that £32 is rather a ridiculous price for a highlighting palette. Therefore when I stumbled across this Revlon 030 Bronze Glow Highlighting Palette in Boots a couple of weeks ago, which retails at £8.99, I had to show you guys!

Simply brush on to enhance complexion for a natural sun kissed look. Perfect for the winter, Christmassy season where your cheeks need that extra warmth and shimmer.

Of course this dupe isn't as good as the original Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick, however if you're looking for a reasonable highlighter I highly recommend this Revlon palette, especially as you'll save around £24!

I hope this helped!

I've Re-Decorated My Bedroom!

Hello Lovelies!

I've recently finished a massive makeover of my bedroom and I'm so so happy with how it now looks. It had been torture not having a bedroom for over a month (Imagine having no wardrobe for your clothes or no dressing table!)  I wasn't sure if you would be interested in seeing what it looks like, but I just had to take a few photos! So here we go....

Interested in what I think of the Real Technique brushes? Check out the links bellow :)

Who's heard of 'We ♥ It'? A week ago I downloaded the free app after being shown and told about it by a friend. I'd say it's another version of Tumblr crossed with a touch of Pinterest and Instagram  - it's full of the girly things we all get giddy over and love!

Autumnal Nail Polish

Hello Lovelies, I'm back!

I managed to take some photos at college the other day in some natural lighting! There's some mini product reviews on their way to you, hopefully I can take some more photos tomorrow on some outfits and a little (actually, pretty big) project I've nearly completed :) For now, here's one of my favourite Autumn nail varnishes...

This colour is Barry M's 273 in Raspberry. It's rich, bold and an absolutely gorgeous colour - I've had quite a lot of complements on in.

Do you have a favourite autumn nail varnish colour?

I'm Going to Just Keep Swimming

Hello Lovelies!

Today I just wanted to have a little chit-chat because I've been faced with a slight problem...

As you may know I'm 17, I go to college 5 days a week and I work on Saturdays (some Sundays also.) Autumn has commenced and winter is approaching, which means that I go to college and work in the dark at 8am and I come home when it's dark at 5pm. I haven't experienced being a blogger around this time of year before and I'm now trying to figure out a schedule of when I can get around to taking photos for posts with natural daylight lighting.

The next time I will get a chance to take photos will be Sunday afternoon, so a post should hopefully be up Sunday night, until then I may be able to find some images I've taken previously and not used, to continue talking to you guys - because that's what I love doing!

If any of you are going through a bit of a struggle, whether it be with school/college to a fall out with friends, think of little Dory in Finding Nemo and 'Just Keep Swimming' everything gets better eventually!

Talk soon,

Auschwitz

Hellooo!

Last week some of you may know that I visited Krakow, Poland. Whilst I was there we took a day trip to visit two parts of the former concentration camp: Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau. From the spring of 1942 Auschwitz became the largest site for the murder of Jews brought here under the Nazi plan for their extermination. More than 1,100,000 men, women, and children lost their lives here.
As you can probably guess, it was a really moving and emotional visit - but as the quote seen on the wall entering Block 4 Extermination states "The one who does not remember history is bound to live through it again - George Santayana"

I wanted to share a few of the photos I took whilst there, so you can try to experience what I saw, and what those innocent people saw before their lives were taken.
