♥ Christmas Nails ♥ imPRESS nails ♥

It's Christmas Eveeeeeeee!!

I thought it was about time I sorted out my nails, and I settled with a simple and easy imPRESS, press on manicure set. I personally really like imPRESS nails as they are reasonably priced, easy to apply and last up to a week. Here are the nails that I chose, and how to apply them.

First you use your "PREP PAD" to clean your nails

Then use the file provided if needed

Simply peal off the clear underneath coating

And press onto your nails

I hope each and every one of you have a fun and festive filled Christmas, filled with love and happiness

♥ Christmas Decorations ♥

One of my favourite things about Christmas is the decorations, the decorations unfortunately don't beat the food but they are up there in my "Top 5 Things I Love About Christmas". Everyone has their own views on what are nice decorations, but personally I love feeling cosy and slightly traditional at this time of year. Especially in the evening, you can cuddle up with a warm blanket and turn on the fairy lights! This evening I have taken photos of my favourite bits in the house...

♥ Christmas Decorations ♥

The decorations at this time of year has to be my favourite thing about Christmas. Feeling all cosy and warm as you stay indoors on a winters night - with your favourite Christmas movie and a hot chocolate. Everyone has their own opinion on what their house should look like during the winter period; some people go for the whites and silvers, some people go bold and bright - personally I love the more traditional route.

♥ Tumblr ♥

Here I'd like to show you my Tumblr page. Personally I love Tumblr, however I know some people are not so keen - you never know what you might find while scrolling down your dashboard...

Somehow I find scrolling through random photos rather addictive and can sometimes spend a good hour looking through pointless, but interesting - and in a way - inspiring photos.

From beautiful beaches and sunsets (which quite frankly don't look so good in the UK), to photos of animals - everything is shown across as perfect.

Welcome To My Blog!

Hey everyone, welcome to my blog!

I’ve been planning to write my own blog for quite some time now, and I've finally persuaded myself to sit down and try my best to work out how to get started. So back to basics - I'm Abigail Mason, 16 years old and living in South East England. I am currently studying my A Levels at a college in Southampton:these subjects include, Geography, Business Studies, Fine Art, Life Drawing and Graphics.

I have created this Blog as a get-away and a life journal. As I am still in my younger years I intend to share with you my journey and experiences as I grow into an adult, learning and exploring the world. I will include all my favourite trends and current styles, but it will be broadly lifestyle based about anything and everything, from what I’m wearing to what I’m doing and generally what I’m loving. I’m excited about getting this going finally…

I really hope you like it!

Christmas Nail Polish Ideas

It has come to that time of year again; the time where you put aside your summery - bright coloured nail polishes and put on your festive warming or glittery varnish. Like most people; I have a favourite nail varnish brand. This is Barry M: after using this make for years, it's become a habit and I have gained a small obsession.

I have collected together a few of my favourites, and I hope you like them too!

8 of my favourites

These three polishes are your darker, warmer tones. My favourite is the shade known as 'Crush'; this is the one on the right hand side. I like this shade simply as it's Matte and is a gorgeous colour. A simple black nail polish is lovely for a night out and is also easy to coordinate with your outfit.

On the other side, you may want to add some sparkle and shine to your look. On the left we have 'Chameleon Pink', this is a metallic colour which turns darker after a layer of clear nail varnish. This is good if you want to mix up the colour of your nails, or change them to the darker shade before venturing out in the evening. 'Pink Silver Glitter' is fun, festive and girly and 'Diamond Glitter' can be layered with your favourite festive shade to glisten it up.
